Ive been hurt so many times
my heart was turned black as cole
i gave up on living all togather
I stayed in the dark forever and ever
intill one day i saw the light
that changed my life
from dark to bright
from the start we became good friends
but through time we started to end
i never showed her what was real
i wore a mask of steal
it kept me from getting broken
but in the end
she taught me a lesson
she was the light who taught me to see
what love could be if i opened my heart
and let her see
how happy i could be
she showed how easy it could be
all along love was the key
