Continuous Memories of Love

by Greg Allen   Jul 8, 2008

Inviting lend of a soft hand,
With attachment, lust will understand,
The hand of a woman, vulnerable yet sturdy,
Offered with collateral of a heart so worthy,

Waste our time we will not do,
Lovers as life we travel through,
And if one burns out,
The other burns on,
Though with grief, continuous grief of love,
Steadier than the travel lead before, now gone.
