My Lady

by Red Knight   Jul 10, 2008

I have never used,
my pen to flatter..
and in this truth,
i will never falter...

For words should be,
in soul be carry..
and so with care,
i'll write, my poetry...

So for her,
whose beauty so rare..
i'll reserved what's best,
that i have to offer...

I'll not try to trifle,
with each of my poem..
for she is a treasure,
that i dreamed to own...

So let me now begin,
and let mystery unfold..
for that lady in red,
whose stories untold...

She's a phrase worth reading,
a woman who's sublime..
a goal worth pursuing,
the mountain i dare climb...

She's adorned with graces,
fashioned by time..
she is so human,
but in ways divine...

So my soul desires,
to carved an statue..
in stones of gold,
dedicated for you...

For each man has always,
have one wish or two..
it might be wine,
or a lady like you...

This sounds like you like a person but are afraid to say so,say what's on your heart because you may not get another chance to do so
