New Years Resolution

It is surprising to see an angel cry;
I never knew they had tears

What a beautiful sight
To witness such love and devotion
Expressed by a single person.

My love,
These tiny drops you have shed
Have changed my life today.
Forever I will be more for you.

I have given you consuming doubts
and have caused these divine waters to flow.
Now, my life is dedicated to finding forgiveness.

Please find mercy within!
I know not how I have wronged
But will search within me
to find how I may become worthy.

Permit some time for this escapade into my soul.
Its' complexities will make this journey a struggle
to find each of these torn edges inside.

I may have to search until my time has passed,
But what an honor to sacrifice my life
To such a holy being.
My life is yours alone.

Given any instruction,
Like putty will I mold into your hands.
I am yours to command.

It may be hard to believe
But I know a perfect being could never make a mistake
In sculpting your frame.
It would be foolish not to trust such judgment.

I am an honest man
And my promise is worth the effort;
To be your eternal companion
And love none other than you.

Do not be afraid to commit.
You are not alone
And never again must be.
