If not for dreams
Would I be sane today?

If not for dreams
Would I have been able to escape?

I had to dream I was with my dad.
I had to dream my step-mom was there.
I had to dream it was over, nothing happend.

If I hadn't I felt dirty.
If I hadn't I felt ashamed.
If I hadn't I felt embarrased.

Dreams used to be my best friend.
But I don't need them to escape anymore.
Dreams are just my wants, not my needs.

I don't need my dreams.
I don't have to escape.
I don't need run.
