You Are My Everything

by Jennifer Mahin   Jul 17, 2008

You are my moon,
my stars,
my sun,
my never-ending source of fun.

The hand that's laced in mine.
My friend, my love,
my shoulder to lean on;
my standing, solid rock.

You're the smile on my face,
the twinkle in my eye,
the ever-constant tingle in my soul,
the fullness in my life.

You're my silly, mature, caring,
thoughtful, honest and loving guy;
the voice that makes me weak.
You bring happiness into my life.

You are in all that I do,
and all that I say;
the thought that starts each morning,
and the conclusion to each day.

You're the smiling face I want to see,
couldn't imagine how it would be,
to go a day without talking to you;
knowing you're there no matter what I am going through.

You're the beat of my heart,
the butterflies in my stomach,
the importance in my life,
my whole world.

You are all I've wanted,
and all I need.
You are all I've dreamed of.
You are my everything.
