If I had the ability to change time, I would rearrange an

era so that our ages would coincide.

I would wait patiently as your friend, while you

submerge yourself in days of being a wild child.

All the while preparing myself, because I know that it

will come to pass, The day that you will lay down your

staff, and no longer tend to a flock, but only care for

one lamb.

If only, you were 10 years older, I would move

mountains if I thought for a moment that I could have

your consideration.

If only, you were 10 years older, I would slay countless

dragons for the opportunity to win your heart.

If only, you were 10 years older I would rearrange my

life's story just to make you the leading man.

If only, you were 10 years older I would bring heaven

here today if I thought that it would solidify our forever.

When your time comes, you will be one of the "Great

Ones."

I can see it now, Dedicated Father, Devoted husband,

leading his family, while walking with them in God's

light.
