What once was can no longer be

Our love was once so pure and true
there was only one person i ever wanted to be with
and that was you

i will never know just what happened that day
you have never sat down to talk about it
you just walked away

but now i have to leave you in the past
i deserve a new start aswell
and now i will get that at last

i'm sorry that we couldn't work it out
but even if we could
in my head there still would've been doubts

so i'm now going to move on
