Are You Happy

by Fan Angeleo   Jul 24, 2008

Gray clouds follow me daily
I stand profound and complete
Every morning I try to remember.

Sleeping, another day dies.
I rolled over once and kiss you
you laugh and then sighed.

My breakfast over eaten dried
are my days I know are numbered
a perfect damsel in my dreams just
forgotten.

Gone are the summers we once knew
old but shadowed drench by wild flowers.
Cold beheaded snowman the horrow of
a picture my child shouldn't had drew.

I stand still sleepy in this winters world
that doesn't seem true. Maybe I'll
wake tomorrow to a new world too.
