A day of love

I wish every moment with you was in slow motion
i could feel your every touch i could hear your every sound
i could taste every part of your soft lips.

as we kiss our eyes slowly shut, as we imagine our dreams together
our hearts feel bigger as they weigh down to our stomachs,
the feeling is like your being dropped from hundreds of feet from the ground,
the only thing different is we're not scared, we feel safe, comfortable, happy.

when we stare into each others eyes its like we see a beautiful place
that makes us amazed, speechless, and warm. all we can give back is a smile
and both at the same time lip an "i love you" then we shed a giggle.

then we give our last hug for the day, the feeling of we're about to hit the ground.
the feeling of tears building up in your eyes, and alls we offer is a fake smile as our
happiness fades, this feeling is like we're never going to see each other again,
like we're dying.

our hands break from one another, the feeling is like taking a kids favorite toy away.
you walk away as i stand there, we're both broken, but don't show much of it.
we took our last breath together,then, gone.
don't know about you, but i didn't realize how happy i was till the day ended..
