Anticipation!- love at 40!

by Angel   Jul 25, 2008

Setting the coarse hair straight,
Noticed, the lines to deepen await.

Passed fingers on the matted skin,
But, no traces of gravel within.

Twenty years just seemed to fly,
Leaving the longingness unchanged.

As the sun sets, so she rises,
Awaiting him, like the first time.

The clock ticking to destination,
Seeemed too slow and eternal.

Reflection of him spilled around,
Turned about to step into his arms.

His smile, the warmth in embrace,
Lit her blear eyes with sparkles.

All the anticipation was left,
behind the virtual world.

In his touch so soothing,
found the tranquility, she yearned!
