Death Angel

by natasha   Jul 26, 2008

I lay there still on the ground;
Waiting for my eyes to close and to drift onto endless sleep.
As I lie there I see an angel with black wings,
Fly down toward me, though I could not see your face, you are beautiful.

The feathers from your wings, are as dark as night itself.
Your cloak silky and smooth; that flows as you drift from the sky.
Your scythe shimmers in the light;
The light that is blinding to me, but yet I can't stop looking.

The sight of you makes me feel everlasting joy.
Tears stream down my face and you come closer.
I have waited so long to see you it seems like a dream.
A dream I wish never to wake from.

You hold out your hand, and so do I.
I wait for your embrace,
While you drift ever so gracefully toward me.
I sense your presents as my vision seen to blur.
The pain starts gets worse though, and I cry out.

You grab my hand and everything seems right.
The pain is gone and I can see again.
I look at you; still your face can't be seen
But I know you're smiling at me.

You whisper to me, come with me were there is no pain.
Tears of joy slowly fall down my cheek and I nod.
You then hold me and fly me toward the light.
The flap of your wings eases me.

I look back and wear I used to lie.
I then turn away and look you once again.
I whisper under my breath,
I love you my Death Ange
