My angel of sorrow

by Lacie   Jul 31, 2008

My angel sits in the corner,
With his wings spread,
And his eyes ajar,
Quiet and still.

His heart hurts in unison with mine,
His hands broken and bandaged,
His tears are nothing but blood,
His voice is brittle and weak.

My angel is bound to me by love,
Forsaken by the ones he loved most,
I made him mine by making him live,
Still he weeps in sorrow.

It pulls at my heart seeing him weep,
Keeping an angel is as,
Keeping the sun in a paper bag,
He shall live in heavens gates once more.

I shall teach him to fly again,
I shall be the one he lives for,
I shall be his angel,
Even if it means letting him go..

I love this composition! Wow, the formation of the words plus the feelings and thoughts were combined in an outstanding manner. I love the way you created an angel who would not guide but he, who would be guided... Hope he'll find his way to you! Good work!
