The Mist of Passion and Longing

by ImperfectBliss   Aug 4, 2008

Slowly stepping out in to the mist

I look for the path I have yet again missed

I can hardly see my hand in front of my face

It seems as though all my love has been misplaced

The afternoon sun can not penetrate the thick clouds

Casting a dark shadow on all that I've found

I try to see in a new light,

But it seems all I can do is fall down in my fight

Surrending my love, my soul, my heart

As the shadows tear up this beatiful work of art

Hidden kisses tip-toeing in this mist

A laughing face, my hearts desire has kissed

A crown of black midnight ever flowing

Sparkling eyes that sends my world a-glowing

Delicate body of shape and love

Skin as white and pure as a Christmas Eve's dove

A smile that shines like the star carressed moon

A gentle twinkling that sets my heart ablaze

I silently caress her with my steady gaze

Sweet whispers of bitter love laughing and twirling

Sending this mist-covered midnight sun whirling

In to the shining night of beauty and tears

Setting the world ablaze with passion and longing....
