We live in a horror

This world we live in
is full of hopes &
dreams

But also filled with
night mares that
appear in our sleep

Each morning we wake
hoping for a brand new
day

Thinking horror movies
are fake

We live in horror as we
wake

Murderers in this world
as long with rapists
in our home

We can only hope
we aren't the next
victim on their list
of hopes

Hoping to attack
a fresh new victim
that will appear on
their laps

When we go out
at night, we only hope
for a good night

But some out there
don't come back
