A rainy farewell

by Four Letter Lie   Aug 6, 2008

With you it's like the warmest day of summer,
I should be outside playing.
But as it seems I'm sitting inside,
Waiting for it to rain again.

But these ain't seasons were dealing with,
They're hearts.
And as we both know well,
Hearts fall apart.

I don't want to hurt you,
But if I don't you'll hurt me.
So this is how it ends,
Goodbye is all it can be.

So now its like the rain is pouring,
All the kids sadly go inside.
But I'm running around in the rain,
It makes me feel so alive.
