Stay With Me

by Paralyzed   Aug 7, 2008

The moon it shines so bright tonight
It hangs low in the sky
Why don't you come and lie with me
And kiss the world goodbye

We'll travel to the farthest star
And look back on creation
Lust to be so far away
Bound only by temptation

Drink of me, my sweetest sin
Know that I am yours
No other man shall taste these lips
Or rest upon these shores

Your eyes, the fire in my soul
That draw out such a passion
One minute from insanity
Nowhere close to ration

I wonder if you'll be with me
Though time and death insist
Ever after and beyond
We cannot coexist

No bright and shiny heaven
Nor hot and burning hell
Just out here among the stars
Where always we did dwell

Though only deep inside our head
Always, it's our spot
Outside the living, breathing world
Our love that time forgot
