A Rose

by Fred   Aug 9, 2008

If I had to give you a rose
and choose between real or fake.
I would seriously have to consider,
the chance I was about to take.
For if I give you a real one,
theres a chance that it would die.
Afterward our love would fail, and
you would say good-bye.
But if I give you a porcelain one,
forever it would live.
So to represent my love for you,
the porcelain rose I'll give.
Don't think of its not being real,
notice it will never die.
Just like my love for you,
the rose, nor I, will ever say
Good-Bye.
