Journey

(Written from a guy's point of view)

I'm walking in.
My hopes are high.
Hope they can lift me
Off into the sky.

That's where I need
To go today.
Need to find a way
To say "I love you".

There was a special girl.
To me, she was
The whole world.
When she left, it tore me
Into pieces that can't be found.

So now I'm finding the courage
To go on a journey
To the center of the heart
To find the missing story.

Because if I can put it back
And make that whole picture...
Oh, the smile on her face
Will be enough to bring her back.

Though I know the skies the limits,
To me, there is much more.
The heavens lie up so high
And its there that I must fly.

My love will give the strength
For my wings to fly with speed.
For the journey through the heart
Will give me exactly what I need.

A girl that I can't deny
Came and changed my life.
Now that's she's gone,
All I can do is be thankful
That she gave the time
To be mine.
