Why?

by devouring daisies   Aug 14, 2008

You look into eyes and your gone,
Through your love, and words are always withdrawn.
Unable to say the thoughts in your head,
Thinking of consequences that only you dread.
Friendship is gone with the flick of a wrist,
As you think in your head of a list...
All the bad things you've done are there,
But this secret love you wouldn't dare.
Bite your lip, and hold your tounge.
Stare at intentions that should be hung.
This desired love you want not to feel,
The sickness you have can only be real.
Weak at the knees and run to the hills,
On the table a stack of over flowing bills.
Choose friendship or love what one will you wreak?
A boat with a huge hole in the deck.
Live with the guilt or friendship forever,
To tie down your friendship with a strong leaver.
I don't need love for I belong to hell,
Remain where I fell.
Do the right thing for your friend,
That's what I did in the end.
