His Story

by Aaron   Aug 17, 2008

Darkness sinks into the waters,
Its taken all my sons and daughters.
It drags them down into the abyss,
And stabs me sharply with a kriss.

Shadows cover my life,
They fill me with strife.
All my love has died,
Swallowed up with my pride.

I ran to the dull woods,
Far from any neighborhoods.
Banished to life by the sea,
None of this feels like me.

All is dark and never light,
It's a lively but dead blight.
There's noises in the dark,
Something like a fierce bark.

I hunt around and find no food,
I know there is a secret wolf brood.
They will hunt me and kill,
My blood will surely spill.

Death is merely a matter of time,
Where and when will not matter.
Live life in pure sublime,
Before all of your dreams shatter.
