Sorry I let you Down

by Kaitlyn Cabrera   Aug 17, 2008

My love for you never changed, it only grew stronger as i aged.
We fought like any mother and daughter would, but in the end we would always laugh.
They all used to tell me that you wouldn't be here forever and I really didn't believe one bit of it.
Just the thought of losing you made me cry.
I just wish I made your life a little less stressful.
I wish I was your dream daughter.
Remembering when you would say "Your the perfect daughter..." I never did believe it because I saw that look in your eye.
I only wish that you died knowing you had the daughter you always wanted and I am sorry for letting you down.
As we both grew older, even though I didn't want to believe it I knew that your walk to heaven was nearer than ever before. We both new it...
The saddest part isn't even you dying, it is knowing that I let you down.
I hope one day you will forgive me for all I put you through and all the pain I caused your heart.
When that fateful day came I couldn't control my tears or heart.
The woman that loved me no matter what I put her through was gone...
I wanted you so badly to wake up and tell me you loved me again but that never came.
Let me just say this,
Lets not say goodbye, but until next time....
