I Must Be Falling in Love

by Jeff ROWE   Aug 17, 2008

I saw you walking down the mall today,
Lapping an ice-cream cone.
The rest of the world may as well have disappeared,
For there was only you, involved,
Enjoying a delicious mound of pleasure,
And me looking on, involved, enjoying your pleasure.
It occurred to me then,
That you're only a big little girl
With grown-up ideas,
And I'm probably a fool,
Who'd be better off chasing down skirts
And taming all the wild women.
Instead, I watch you eating an ice-cream cone.
But, what do you want from a grown man of ???
I'd gladly trade all the skirts
For a share of you ice-cream.
I must be falling in love,
Or maybe,
I just like ice-cream.
