Someone like you

by shylock   Aug 18, 2008

Before I didn't care about anything
I was a girl who dream, wish and hope for something
I didn't know what was the thing
All I know a part of me is missing

Then time goes faster as years go by
My childhood left me a thousand sigh
Perhaps I'm not old enough to understand
The emotions I'm longing beneath the sand
Will it find me or it will show
Through all these years I never know

But all of a sudden memories start to linger
When your presence runs through the tips of my finger
I reached the point when no ones there
But you stood by me in every dare

When I was down and bound
You were there to turn my world around
You brightened up my darkest days
And I wanted to thank you in so many ways

Your love and courage lightened up my journey
Into a life that is meaningful and worthy
How blessed I am that I have you
The one I love and love me too

For a long time I waited for this
A sort of love that would bring me bliss
And I would not make it through
Without a person Someone Like You
