Underneath a willow tree

by jasmine cherry   Aug 20, 2008

I lie beneath this willow tree
to confess my love for thee
because we are like the birds and bees
which flies scattered in near by trees

this love reaches beyond the grasps
of tainted hands
our love is pure
just like the sounds of the wind
that whispers your name in forgotten dreams

i look for thee in times of need
but you evade me so easily
i cry for comfort under this willow tree
i wish i confessed my love for thee
because now its too late for you and me
your heart no longer beats
your lungs no longer breathe
your body no longer lives

so now you supply this great old willow tree
with the never told love stories of
you and me
