FOUR YEARS AGO TODAY

Four years ago today, I took his name as mine. Not knowing you then, is where we crossed the line. All that I believed, is what I gave up...now this is where I am, left with my empty cup.

For this is what I had to see, to glorify your name.
Thank you Jesus, as without you my life was just ashame; Yet you stayed with me all along, to wash away my blame.

Lord, you know my heart, in every possible way, and with you within me, I know that I won't stray. I still want my husband back, as you know that I do pray... yet I know that it can't happen,as long as he's still that way.

For this is what I had to see, to glorify your name.

Even after four years ago today, I yearn to see his face. Lord? Send him a spirit so strong...Don't let Satan take your place. He is a good person, he lost his pace; Yet, with the right spirit, you'ld have him in your Grace.

For this is what I had to see, to glorify your name.
Thank you Jesus, for washing away my blame.
