How do you know just who I am
Or what things I may do
I often think about these thoughts
And what I felt for you.

I held my hand out once to you
From there you turned away
You broke my heart and said goodbye
And left me in dismay

And now you return to my life
Looking, for something more
I could not believe what you had done
I’m not at your beck and call!

Don’t walk right in and think that
You can tell me what to do
I moved on with life and, those thoughts
I suggest you do that too!
