I can handle what i 've seen before ,
But the truth from you might scare me .

Is there a single person who knows the truth ,
Behind your f 'ed up lifestyle , and why you enjoy it ?
Have you ever uttered the words " i 'm sorry " ,
And acually meant them ?

For years and years i 've been fighting the urge ,
To scream out everything that ever kept me on edge .
How those nights you never called ,
I knew you were with her .

You didn 't see it then , you couldn 't look past it .
All i was to you , was a pretty face to show .
I 'm more then that , Boy sure i am .
It took me a while , but i have you figured out .

It 's pathetic how i 'd always come running back ,
No matter what you did , no matter how hard i cried .
Whats sadder then that , is the fact that i would ,
come running back to you all over again .

All these note , all these poems , they were all for you .
I doubt you ever took the time to read any of them .
But then again , maybe you did read them ,
Is that why you 'd shut your mouth while i spoke ?

Wow, It 's such a load of crap .
You got everything you wanted ,
And all you had to do , was break a couple hearts .

The only boy who could give nothing ,
take everything , and still be content with his life .
How do you live with yourself knowning ,
That you destroyed so many lives .

Does it even faze you , do you even care ?
Would it make any difference ,
If everyone walked away , for good .
Do you think you could make it on your own ?
