Malfunction

The day goes by
I cannot walk
The night comes around
All I want to do is talk

The sky shines bright
I stare and smile
The night sky cries
I laugh for a while

My heart beats once
I can't even feel
My heart stops twice
And at your feet I kneel

You've changed my world
It's now tossled and thrown
It's malfunctioning, sweetheart
Everything is unknown

I love this breakage
I love these sounds
The creaking the burning
My head is spinning around

My mind is untied
All day, all night
And I don't even care
Caz I'm still holding you tight

    This poem was well written. Each stanza is short, and has a good rhythm and gets across a message. And it was well done how you kind of lead the reader to believe theres a breakup or the guys leaving, and at the end you finish with

    "And I don't even care
    Caz I'm still holding you tight"
