A highschool romance. everyone new didnt stand a chance

They no when i say I'm over her
that no girl will take her place
they say there is a sparkle in my eye
each time i gaze upon her face

if we had another try
do you think that we could make it?
but if you had the choice
would you ever even take it?

i no you will never read this
but i also hope you do
because writing this i realized something
i do miss you

i was going to write a poem
of the feelings i had for you
of the times that have gone by
the things we said we would do

but then i realized there was no point
i cant put into words how i feel about you
