Romeo to Juliet 2

by michelle   Sep 1, 2008

Juliet my love, thy words are sweet,
I read thy letter by candlelight, alone
And with loneliness I weep.
Daily now I watch the sun,
See you smiling at me.
I feel the wind, brushing my cheek,
Your hands get softer still.
I watch the sky, filled with clouds of confusion,
And I know thee is worried.
Worry not, dear Juliet,
For I am always near.
If ever you shall need, my love
Just call out to the heavens,
For that is where I reside with you,
And I will come running, to save my dear love.
For a world without you, is a world of nothing,
Just bleakness, black and cold.
I finish with a prayer for thee,
Placed on thy lips.
