If i was that girl

by SilentSuicide   Sep 1, 2008

I walk the line in the game of love
watching the scenery pass me by
I glance to see the heartbreakers in women
Leaving those men in a tie.

If i was that girl
he cheeks drenched tears for
id give him love, id give him the world
instead of glancing at his heart tore.

If i was that girl
he ran to the pits of hell for
id give him everything
washing away hells core

If i was that girl
He wanted more than air
his heart wouldn't need to mend
Our love would be fair

If i was that girl
Who's voice he lived to hear
i wouldn't have to watch him faultier
and look away with a tear

he means so much to me
but he could never be mine
she trapped him in her stare
one day he will leave the line

I'll stand by his side
I'll help his heart mend
But if i was that girl
There would have been no end.
