You're Love

by ShyandHurt   Sep 5, 2008

In your arms,
There is nothing to fear.

In your gaze,
There isn't any reason to think.

With your touch,
There is no hurt.

With your mouth,
There is never an unsure moment.

Your heart beats on my cheek,
I feel it so strong.

Mine beats harder and faster,
So scared but so safe.

Never could this day have happened,
Even in my wildest dreams.

How can I be in your arms when I for so long watched from a distance,
Wanting and silently loving?

Now I can press close to you for reassurance,
Losing myself.

This moments I am with you are the times I can't think,
The feeling of such loss of control.

But this control I have lost might not be bad,
It drives me to still try to love you.

I know I'm difficult,
Stubborn.

Now you see,
It only shows me you really love me by the way your lips caress mine even when I don't want anything to do with you.

This kind of love you convey is so hard for me to accept,
I'm so sfraid you will just yank it away like everyone else.

I am defiant I know,
Probably more ornery than most.

But under that is just a scared girl,
Looking for someone to love her and for her to love.

It has come in an unusual form,
One no one ever would have guessed could be possible.

You.
