What am I but a fly on the wall,
the one who sees and hears it all
watching them as they act as loves fool
watching on as they fail, crash and fall
Their shouts are lost to the wide open sky
He never listened to her shrill desperate cry
Minds so weak
They just can't comprehend
Going on as if it is game over, the end
Time teaches lessons in the most peculiar way
survival of the fittest
Trudging on day by day
The ignorant go first
Then the unwise
Somehow amazingly
the same mistakes they make
Loving, and falling, loving and falling
But what am I but a fly on the wall
only to see and hear it all.
