Time

by Sophannara   Sep 16, 2008

The day starts off by counting down seconds till sixty
I can hug or smile at you in sixty seconds
Then sixty seconds make it into a minute
I can sing you a song in a minute
Then sixty minutes becomes an hour
I can take you for a nice long walk in an hour
Then twenty-four hours later it becomes a day
I can watch movies and cuddle with you in a day
Then you do that seven times and becomes a week
I can dream about of you seven times in a week
Then the week turns four times and becomes a month
I can dance everyday with you in a month
Then the month turns twelve times to make a year
I can experience the four seasons with you in a year
Then ten years later it becomes a decade
I can show you a rock on your finger in a decade
Then one hundred years later it becomes a century
I can grow old with you in a century
Then one thousand years we've a millennium
I can count every single star in the sky in a millennium
and still wouldn't be tired as long its with you
But, I've spent none of this with you
Now this is what we call time
So would you like to spend a portion of your time with me?
