If We Were. .

by Kenny   Sep 20, 2008

If we were once a sincere and longing love
We'd be the peace within everyone's heart
The sparkle beneath the depth of lover's eyes
The reason why this world rotates since from
the start

If we were once a romantic love song
We'd be the sweetest lingering melody
The lover's beat of ecstasy all night long
A thought of inspiration as they sail eternity

If we were once a constant gentle wind
We'd touch each faces and spread our tenderness
Play with the autumn leaves as they descend
Before they land above the ground's coldness

If we were once the thing called life
We'd be the beauty hidden behind reality
A puzzle of trials with the sharpness of a knife
A game that must be played with opportunities
