Glorious mermaid

by moonlight   Sep 23, 2008

Surfing over the waves that quietly glisten
Sparkling aqua blue were her fin
Adorned with pearls her hairs embraid
Wow... it is a beautiful and glorious mermaid

Middle of the night, was just a beginning
Down the broken rock, was her prince charming
Wounded in his life and aching
yet with closed eyes and smiling

Staring at him..she was puzzled
She melted with his first touch
'Am I in love'..she wondered
She adored him a bit too much

He gave the world to her
wanting to be cared, forgot where she belong
She learned to spell HAPPY
She was tender, he made her strong

One fine day...he disappeared
Out in to the blue without uttering a word
She waited and waited
waiting for a glance, longing to ask why he left

Her maids warned her of the passers by
She cared the less, had gone love insane
Singing like a nightingale with all the pain
Searching for a face ,just to see him once again

Drowned in love, trying to spot him in close vicinity
Sparking tears sang the pain of her heart
Tears lost in the salinity
She tried to smile,'Thank God' nobody saw her cry

There came the devils fishing for a high
Saw the mermaid who sat with a sigh
Shot her, right in the eye
Her maids saved her before she died

Walk along the shore by the broken rock
You can still see the mermaid at 12'o'clock
Look in to her eyes, you can see the glowing pain
Wow the glorious mermaid...blind but still singing for her love
