Past Emotions

by Dying Beautifully   Sep 29, 2008

I doodle on a paper,
Unconsciously writing the words.
I miss you.
I draw a heart and a crack in the middle.
It's surrounding the "you".
I read your notes.
Remember the ones you'd write.
The ones filled with nothing.
To me they were everything.
Remember the smile on my face.
When you would say the smallest of things.
The look in my eyes.
When we said our goodbyes.
Do you remember seeing my tears?
When I told you about my past.
The horror when my fears,
Then became a reality.
I miss you now.
And I'm not sure how,
I am moving right now.
Breathing in and out.
I don't know what to say.
I wish you would call today.
But you can't because you won't.
And really truly part of me says don't.
I couldn't live after if you did.
I'd hear your voice and cry.
At least now I have control.
I only do it at night.
I just want you to know I miss this.
And I want you to see what my wish is.
I miss you
I miss me
I miss it all you see
Love is Life's Only Valued Emotion
But for me it's a lost notion.
