Signs of You On My Mind

There are things that I've noticed
when I have you on my mind.
These things I call them signs,
they happen from time to time.

Like when I stare into space
and zone out unaware of what's
happening around me.
With my imagination running wild
with thoughts of you to keep
me occupy until you I can see.

If it was possible I would
tattoo an image of you onto
the inside of my eyelids, so
I can see you 21,600 times a day.
So, every time I blink I can see you,
but I'm afraid of needles so for now
an image of you will be burned in my mind
and I hope that it won't go away.

I give myself manicures like
every other day,
constantly biting on my nails
with anxiety or should I say
being impatience.
I forever want to consume the
food of love you give to me
orally when we kiss.
In that I mean,
I never want your lips to
leave mine.

I know at times it feels like
I might be suffocating you
with my presence I apologize for it.
I just don't know how long fate has
for our relationship,
so I cherish every moment being with you
and I hope you can understand that.

These signs are like symptoms of
allergies leaving me with itchy eyes
that leads to tears that make
me go blind.
The itchiness becomes unbearable to
the point where I have to close
my eyes and all I see is you.
