Sleep

by Beautiful Disaster   Sep 29, 2008

Slipping into bed tonight
So lonely, small and cold
I crawl under a mass of covers
And wait for sleep to take hold

Blankets pulled around my head
Are heavy on my back
This unforgiving lack of warmth
It feels like I might crack

Id trade these blankets for your arms
Theyre so strong and full of life
Thinking now how great that would feel
I fall asleep tonight
