Flames arisen

by michael   Sep 30, 2008

As the door opens
then rain slides in
As it douses all,
It spreads around the floor.

In the old country home
the flames start with the dome
Burning down to the ground
marks arise all around,

People scream
and they fall down
dying slowly without a sound
A flash of a light from the search beam
Lights up the grotesque scene.
