To My Girl

by Richard S   Oct 7, 2008

Who is the girl that I call my own?
A vision that's risen from loveliness sown
With a heart that's open to the love that I give.
Willing to share the life that we live.

Who is the girl that I call mine?
Beauty so perfect and hair so fine.
Her smile alone can make me swoon.
When we are parted I long for her soon.

Who is the girl that has my heart?
Knowing she's special right from the start.
Her understanding of me seeming so right.
And her acceptance of me showed me the light.

Who is the girl that is promised to me?
She who stands with me and let's the world see,
That my love that is given is returned the same way
Who is the girl? She is mine all shall say.

perfection is just an illusion. For onetime the physic counts for a guy, normally most guys says beauty comes from the heart.
I love this poem because most women like being attired for their man.

I really liked this. If a guy wrote me this, he would DEFINITELY be getting brownie points!
