Having To Had

by Tamon G   Oct 7, 2008

There are times when you enter into
my subconscious got me
second guessing what is imagination,
and what is reality.
Hearing things like whispers
whenever a breeze blows by my
ears where your whispers
use to be.

Long life seems a lot longer
with the fact I have no one
to share with.
Like when I use to tell people I
had an angel who use to kiss
my lips,
and they call me a liar and said
everything I say is myth.

I never knew how loud rain is
until two clouds started to pour
rain onto my cheeks.
I close my eyes to stop the rain
from pouring,
but my eyelids can only hold so
much tears until they start to leak.

I was always told a man should
never cry,
and should always be strong.
But everything your told doesn't
have to be right,
I guess that's why sometimes I'm wrong.

Who would ever guess a pain like this
can be caused from a weapon as
beautiful as you.
Close to death with my heart stopped,
colour of my lips has gone from red
to blue.

Nothing is a guarantee in life,
so cherish everything that makes
you glad.
Causes its easy for love to
turn into hate,
and it's easier for something
you have to turn into something
you had.
