Dark Cave

In this dark cave
I wait for the day
I will be free
My wings will spread
Wide and feel the wind
Once more

I look through
The barred window
My shackles make noise
As i grab the bars
And look out into
The starry night
Wishing to be
In the beautiful sky

But, until that day
That I'll be freed
I will work in this
Dark cave
For the monsters
Who took me

For i have
Two hundred more years
In this cave
The only thing
Keeping my hopes up is
My loving husband
Who is waiting for me...
