Meeting Again

by malina   Oct 14, 2008

As the pain seeps through my veins
I'm still able to stand here
Looking into your eyes
As you stand there

The sky seems to change color so fast
But we firmly hold our ground
Their stares go past us
Because we can't hear no sounds

My heart beats slightly
Just at your small smile
I want to walk away
But I tell myself to wait just awhile

Somehow I regain the confidence
That we can re-build us
I lost the thought of why we couldn't before
Because in my eyes, you lost our trust

With outstretched arms
I want to run so fast into them
But I stay back with so much resistance
You already know that we can't begin again

Stay with me
How can these words flow so naturally from you, now?
I blink back the sharp tears
Just to smile anyhow

It's incredible how you moved on
But decided to play with the last part of my soul
I weakly take a step back
Trying so hard for a small smile, My footsteps has to go
