Last Poem For Her..

Love took away part of me
something that's hard to give
my heart is gone away with thee
just like the way you left me

its hard to live a day
knowing you're so far away
now love's gone too
much to my dismay

i want to hold you
but you turned away
i want to be with you
is this the price i have to pay?

you proved to me that love exists
something i cant resist
there was nothing better than it
sad it all went to bits

i miss you baby
but there's nothing i can do
i want to hold you close
but i gotta face the truth

you don't love me anymore
no matter how you say you do
i don't think i can take much more
after all I've been through

this may well be my last poem for you
i just want you to know
life was good when you were here
but now i don't know

one day I'll be happy
and you're left there lonely
then you'll come back to me
and I'll say "I'm sorry"
