Waterfall

by Lakota   Oct 15, 2008

It flows along, never knowing,
Where it goes or why it's going.
Over a rock, another, two more,
It flows like silk to the longing shore.

But what if that shore is never met?
How many infinite miles would it get?
When would the water and earth become one?
When would it's perilous journey be done?

The answer is, it'll keep on going,
Never stopping, always flowing.
Giving beauty and life to all,
That's why it's called a waterfall
