Just Like You

by Caity   Oct 23, 2008

Since you have moved forward
To other women and such
I've tried to follow your lead
But out there, there's not much

I keep missing your smell
Of warmth, home and soap
Your arms of safety and soft
Not strange hands that grope

I keep searching for your lips
Soft and willing and sweet
For deep brown eyes like yours
With so much heart and heat

I'm seeking a tender, inked chest
With a place for my weary cheek
A heart beating just for us
To lull me quietly to sleep

I yearn for your gentle touch
That knows my body so well
Bringing me passion and relief
With your unyeilding spell

I remember your soft, gentle breath
Right as you awaken
Peacefully glancing into my eyes
Your harsh alarm forsaken

Tell me, how do I find another
With these memories in my heart
A man exactly like you
That I can love from the very start?
