I like this line:

The world as a roaring lion is merely daunting at its best,

Courage lives within us all, and with every breath you take,

The rhyme scheme was perfect even when you went from 4 lines per stanza to 2. Your use of metaphores were good as well. I honestly cant see one thing wrong with this poem, you should defenatly try to publish this and get it out there.
