Fierce Magic

by Weeping Wolf   Oct 23, 2008

And even if, there is no hope
do we say, kiss and part?
I can't believe if you love it let it go
because then there would be nothing...
Nay, I am not finished loving you!
and pray you will not cease loving me,
but, do you get no more out of me?
Tis the reason to retain secrets, stir the stew
that mysterious fragrance that boils in your heart
scented slightly like rose petals, like my lips
There would be no farewell shake of hands,
no purge of undying, loyal yearning vows
For I am not one to look upon a lost lover
and show nothing of a former memory retained.
Let Passion lie alone heaving in her chamber
as Faith tries to soak itself in holy water
As we pant, Innocence will cover its eyes
Envy looking in wonder, peeking from the shadows
And Love, Love will be no where near, but so close
Too close to touch or gaze upon, nor hear
It will be instead shining inside of us, bursting
Not like dynamite, but like the birth of a star
And even through the breathless, fierce magic
We through substance of life and air, create, paint,
sealed with a kiss you'll say-
"And I'll still love thee better after death."

Wow... such passion. I am still amazed at how much emotion you are able to put onto paper, showing the reader all your love. I envy your skill, dear, and am really glad I know you. ;)
